Rosie Olang' Odhiambo

Rosie Olang’ Odhiambo is a curator, bookmaker and artist based in Nairobi, Kenya.

She is currently exploring workshops, zines, and artists’ books as formats to play across various disciplines engaging with decolonial, queer, feminist, and black radical traditions.

Her artistic and curatorial approach aims to cultivate generative collaborative processes, centering local context and deep research, all thoughtfully deployed to develop exhibitions, publications and programming that is accessible, sustainable, ambitious and liberatory.

More recently alongside downriverroad and friends, she co-curated Amplitudes of Dawn, a research and exhibition project whose framework taps into sonic memory and deep listening to consider in community, the 1982 coup announcement in Kenya and what followed in its wake.
