About the artist:
Born in Venezuela, Luis Lara MalvacĂas is a Venezuelan experimental and trans-disciplinary artist and dance teacher whose body of work includes creating multidisciplinary works with a great focus on movement practices. He has danced in the work of Jeremy Nelson, David Zambrano, Mark Tompkins, John Jasperse, and in his own choreography. He regularly teaches and presents work in Europe, South America, North America and Asia.
