about COLLECTIVE PRACTICES COFFEE HOUR:

What are our collective practices? What creates safety and space for learning for different people in our classrooms, our workshops, our collaborations? In this twice-monthly 'collective practices coffee hour' our Accessibility Friend and Trans* Feminist Tech Support person: Ren Britton, will host an hour long-drop in session. In their role as Accessibility Friend and Trans* Feminist Tech Support, Ren acts as a companion to find ways together to get our access needs met and wishes to empowering all of us to share what would be needed to make our teaching and learning experiences more accessible. Ren does this work with an explicitly anti-racist, trans*feminist and disability justice perspective, and they are interested in collective approaches to technological practice as well.

To find out what kinds of impacts Ren might be able to support you with at Transart, these sessions will open space to discuss informally how everyone's experiences at Transart are going, and what might need to change to make your learning experience more accessible, what kind of microagressions can we get rid of entirely and which ones can we invent other ways of dealing with? and for us to dream a little -- where are we at? and what do we want

ACCESSIBILITY INFO:
