Interest:The work I create is derived from a keen interest in understanding the relation between human – beings.
My work has something to do with distance and closeness, with hatred and love.
My paintings are very geometric and light colored. It is important to me to be as clear and reduced as possible.
The expression should be found in the reduction. When I lived in Paris (1998-2002) I discovered my love for
experimental filmmaking. I am filming with a super 8 camera or video camera.
Often my work stands in a relation with literature and text. I illustrated Elias Canettis “Die Blendung”, Nabokovs “
Ada”, worked after a text of Friederike Mayroecker and now I am doing a film after “C’est tout” of Marguerite Duras.
I am interested in ‘Language and Image”, trying to translate words into a visual way of expression.(film, video, prints...)
