Bio:

John McNorton is an artist, educator and researcher who has taught in every area of art and design education in the UK and examined courses at BA and MA level. He was the Head of Centre for art and design education at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff and was responsible for theoretical and two-dimensional studies at the centre for ceramics design. He presently teaches part-time on the MA Fine art programme in Cardiff with his other role being the director of DRAWinternational, a centre for drawing, research, action, workshops, based in Caylus, France.

He has taught drawing at the Royal College of Art for a number of years, where he completed his PhD, and has been a visiting tutor at a number of institutes of higher education both in the UK and abroad where he continues to exhibit. Theoretical interest in French philosophy - phenomenology.
