Bio: The techniques and effects of live data broadcasting and transmission provide the theme, medium, and performative space for my work as a media artist. The current focus of my work emerges from a set of interests I have pursued in various media and various contexts since the early 1990s, ranging from documentary film and internet radio to net art and live performance. Across this diversity of experience, I have been constantly concerned with exploring the possibilities of new media technology for hybrid, networked and collaborative practises as well as examining the influence of new media on daily life, social relations and political structures.
