Bio: Zoë Irvine is a sound artist and audio producer. She began to work with sound as a medium in 1994 and her practice includes the creation of publications, installations and net projects. Recent projects include radiophonic work Travels Together, Radio 101 an exhibition and broadcast project at BCA Gallery in Bedford UK, Inaudible City (Magnetic Migration Music in collaboration with Artist Without Homes) as part of the Arnolfini's interim programme in Bristol UK and Illiers - Combray (audio CD / Artistbook publication) collaborating with Helen Douglas.
Irvine is currently collaborating with fellow sound artist Mark Vernon and Freight design in Glasgow on a project bringing hairdressers in Glasgow together through the medium of FM radio. She is also working on the telephonic operatic event Dial-a-Diva, for which she received a Creative Scotland Award.
