Interest: I am interested in all types of marginalization and in the larger context of what it means to be human. I am concerned with what we have done and are doing to the earth. I am interested in artwork which pursues rigorous development of its subject.
Bio: Corrine Corry has been the Director/Curator for the Richmond Art Gallery since 1998. Between 1980 and 1998 she taught at Concordia University, Montreal. Among other positions she was Coordinator of the Open Media Graduate Program, Interdisciplinary Studies and Women and the Fine Arts Programs. During that time she curated exhibitions and worked on the boards for not-for-profit galleries. Between 1978 and 1998 produced television programs and animated films, and exhibited internationally. She has a long list of solo and group exhibitions, video screenings and performances.
