UPLOADING FILES IN MOODLE

STUDENTS access your Moodle blog by clicking on their name and then “Blog” under “Profile”.

Upload studio project documentation and pdfs of research paper for faculty review.

FACULTY upload reading Pdfs in your “Summer Course Forum”.

Images in Moodle blogs:

Size: 800 (min) to 1280 (Max) pixel on the longer side

JPG file format, compression (quality) 8

Files size max. 1MB per image

Settings in excess of the above will result in files that are not embedded directly in your blog and very long upload times.

PDFs in Moodle courses:

Consider b+w of your document if text only.

Set scanning resolution between 200 and 300 dpi for print.

Set scanning resolution to 72dpi if your document is intended for screen viewing only.
