GUIDELINES

DOCUMENTATION AND DESCRIPTION

There are four purposes for this assignment:

First, to explain and show faculty, the assessment commitee and the external evaluator what you have done this semester. Please have them in mind when you do this. They may not know you and they may not have any history with you or your work. Do not refer them to your research paper.

Second, to give you experience writing about your work so that you can be clear and articulate when you speak about it, write proposals, artist statements etc.

Third, to help you sort out your thinking about your work and get a better perspective. A year is a long time for a single project.

Fourth, to support your efforts to make editing decisions which will well represent and strengthen the work.
